Ordinary Man Saves More Than 300 People’s Lives At Notorious Suicide Spot - Using His Own Time And Money

Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge is known to be China’s hotspot of suicide. A bridge suspending over the longest river in the whole country, a total of 2,000 suicides were estimated to have happened on it by 2006. So people like Chen Si have stepped up to the challenge and save people from themselves.

For the past thirteen years, the logistic company employee, has spent every weekend coming to the bridge to prevent people from jumping to their deaths. He has prevented more than 320 people from committing suicide since 2004 and has been nicknamed “The Angel of Nanjing.”
